Moses Peter Eworo Receives IAWPA Eminent Peace Ambassador Award

Moses Peter Eworo, Chief Executive Officer of Top Check Humanitarian Foundation, has received the prestigious Eminent Peace Ambassador Award from the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA), in recognition of his leadership, humanitarian service and commitment to promoting peace, social responsibility and community development.

The honour was conferred on Eworo on Monday in Abuja during the National Stakeholders’ Security Dialogue organised by IAWPA to commemorate the United Nations International Day of Police Cooperation. The event, held at the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja, attracted security stakeholders, government representatives, civil society organisations and other critical actors.

The dialogue, held under the theme, “Policing for Peace: Building Synergy for a Safer Nigeria,” provided a strategic platform for stakeholders to deliberate on contemporary security challenges and explore stronger partnerships towards building a safer and more peaceful Nigeria.

The gathering also underscored the importance of sustained collaboration among security agencies, government institutions, civil society organisations, humanitarian organisations, community stakeholders and responsible private-sector actors in strengthening national security and peaceful coexistence.

The Eminent Peace Ambassador Award, presented by IAWPA, recognises individuals whose leadership and contributions are considered consistent with the ideals of peace, human dignity, social responsibility and sustainable development.

Eworo’s recognition further highlights the important role of humanitarian leaders in complementing institutional efforts to address social challenges, promote inclusion and support initiatives that contribute to the wellbeing of vulnerable members of society.

As Chief Executive Officer of Top Check Humanitarian Foundation, Eworo's emergence as an Eminent Peace Ambassador places greater responsibility on him to sustain the values of service, compassion and responsible leadership while using his platform to encourage peaceful coexistence and positive social development.

The award is also expected to inspire Eworo to continue deploying his leadership influence, humanitarian experience and networks towards peacebuilding, unity, responsible citizenship and community development, while encouraging greater participation in initiatives aimed at strengthening society.
