CIISM Hosts Abuja Masterclass Tomorrow on Strategic Leadership and Management

ABUJA — The Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management (CIISM) will tomorrow, Thursday, September 17, 2026, hold the main physical session of its two-day Strategic Master Class in Abuja, with a focus on strengthening leadership, strategic management and organisational performance.

The masterclass, themed “The Strategic Manager: Mastering Formulation, Implementation & Control,” is holding at Murjanatu House, 1st Zambezi Crescent, Maitama, Abuja, with participants also expected to join through the online platform.

The programme is built around four strategic principles: formulating strategy with clarity and data; implementing strategy with governance and accountability; evaluating performance and adapting continuously; and leading ethically for sustainable growth.

CIISM said the masterclass would expose participants to practical strategic management lessons and Nigerian case studies involving leading organisations, including Dangote Group, BUA Group and MTN, while equipping participants with tools for effective strategy formulation and implementation.

The organisers said participants would also benefit from leadership training, executive masterclass insights, strategy tools, professional networking and Chartered certification designed to enhance their professional and managerial capabilities.

Among the presenters are Mallam Nasir Abdulquadri, FCISM; Prof. Usman Lawan Yusufari, FCISM; Dr. Adelanke Oyintoke, DECISM, ACA, MNIM, FCE, ACIA, Registrar of CIISM, and Dr. Rotimi Mathew of Mentoring and Coaching Nigeria, Abuja.

According to the organisers, registration for the physical session begins at 9:00 a.m., while lectures will commence at 9:30 a.m. prompt. The venue is located beside Merit House and close to the National Universities Commission in Maitama.

Physical participation attracts a fee of N50,000, covering lectures, books, feeding, certificate and networking, while online participation costs N20,000, covering lectures, books, certificate and networking.

CIISM urged professionals, managers and other interested participants to participate in the masterclass, describing it as an opportunity to deepen strategic leadership knowledge and strengthen the capacity to formulate, implement and evaluate strategies for sustainable organisational growth.
