ABUJA — Accolades have continued to trail the recognition of Ambassador Dr. Olubunmi Mary Gbadewole, Chief Executive Officer of Crownbee Luxury Properties and Founder of Marycrown Foundation, who has been honoured with the 100 Global Impact Personalities Award 2026 for her transformative leadership, global impact and outstanding contributions to humanity.

The prestigious recognition was conferred on Gbadewole on September 30, 2026, at the Rotunda Hall, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja, during the 100 Global Impact Personalities Summit & Awards 2026, organised by the Africa Intercontinental Network (AIN) under the theme, “Integrating the Global Framework.”

The award citation commended Gbadewole for her role in “inspiring hope, empowering communities and shaping a brighter future,” while describing the recognition as an acknowledgement of her remarkable impact and commitment to the values of the 100 Global Impact Personalities initiative. The certificate, bearing Certificate ID: GIP-2026-004, was presented in recognition of her documented leadership and humanitarian engagements.

Against this backdrop, Gbadewole’s career increasingly straddles the architecture of private enterprise and social investment, with her corporate leadership at Crownbee Luxury Properties running parallel to a humanitarian agenda through the Marycrown Foundation. Her profile consequently presents a convergence of entrepreneurship, philanthropy, community empowerment and advocacy for human welfare.
Beyond her accomplishments in the luxury property sector, Gbadewole has established a distinctive philanthropic trajectory through the Marycrown Foundation, deploying her influence and resources towards interventions aimed at improving the welfare of widows, orphans and other vulnerable members of society.

A notable testament to her community-oriented philanthropy was recorded in 2025 when she reportedly single-handedly facilitated the construction of a Primary Health Care Centre at Kobi Community, Asokoro, Abuja, as part of activities marking her birthday anniversary. The intervention converted a personal celebration into a tangible community development initiative with enduring social value.

Her empowerment initiatives have equally assumed considerable scale, with her profile indicating that more than 4,000 widows, orphans and vulnerable citizens have benefited from her interventions across four states, alongside support extended to beneficiaries in the diaspora, including New Jersey in the United States.

The breadth of these interventions has increasingly positioned Gbadewole at the confluence of enterprise, philanthropy and social development, with her career trajectory illustrating an attempt to leverage private-sector success for wider community impact. Her recognition at the global personalities summit consequently underscores the humanitarian dimension of her leadership beyond the corporate environment.

Reacting to the recognition, Gbadewole expressed profound appreciation to the Africa Intercontinental Network for the honour, saying she was excited to be part of the distinguished gathering and grateful for the acknowledgement of her contributions to peace and humanity. She indicated that the recognition would further reinforce her commitment to initiatives capable of inspiring hope and empowering communities.

The 2026 honour therefore adds an international recognition dimension to Gbadewole’s expanding leadership profile, coming at a time when her philanthropic interventions continue to attract attention for their emphasis on healthcare access, empowerment and humanitarian support. Her recognition at the summit places those engagements within the broader global conversation on leadership that translates influence into tangible social impact.
