Accolades as Alamu Olumuyiwa Ajibola Bags IAWPA Eminent Peace Ambassador Award

ABUJA — Accolades have continued to pour in following the appointment of Alamu Olumuyiwa Ajibola, Chief Executive Officer of Winnie Success Multipose Venture, as an Eminent Peace Ambassador by the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA), in recognition of his leadership, entrepreneurial enterprise and commitment to societal development and peaceful coexistence.

The prestigious recognition was conferred on Ajibola on Monday in Abuja during the National Stakeholders’ Security Dialogue organised to commemorate the United Nations International Day of Police Cooperation. The event, held at the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja, attracted security stakeholders, government representatives, civil society organisations and other critical actors in the nation’s peace and security architecture.

Held under the theme, “Policing for Peace: Building Synergy for a Safer Nigeria,” the dialogue provided a strategic platform for stakeholders to deliberate on contemporary security challenges and explore practical approaches to strengthening collaboration, dialogue, community engagement and collective action towards a safer and more peaceful Nigeria.

The occasion further underscored the imperative of forging stronger partnerships between security institutions, government agencies, civil society and responsible private-sector actors, particularly in developing sustainable approaches to peacebuilding, social stability and national development.

IAWPA said its Eminent Peace Ambassador Award is reserved for individuals whose leadership and professional contributions demonstrate measurable societal impact, independent leadership and alignment with global peace and development priorities, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

According to the association, the honour is strictly merit-based and is not conferred on the basis of affiliation or ceremonial participation, but on the substance, scale and sustainability of documented contributions to society. Ajibola’s recognition therefore places emphasis on the broader responsibility of entrepreneurs and business leaders to contribute to social cohesion and sustainable development.

As the Chief Executive Officer of Winnie Success Multipose Venture, Ajibola’s elevation reflects the growing recognition of the private sector as an important partner in advancing economic opportunities, strengthening communities and supporting initiatives capable of contributing to peaceful coexistence and national progress.

The honour also represents a renewed call to Ajibola to deploy his experience, leadership influence and entrepreneurial capacity towards initiatives that promote peace, unity, responsible citizenship and community development. His emergence as an Eminent Peace Ambassador adds a private-sector voice to IAWPA’s wider peace advocacy and stakeholder engagement efforts.

IAWPA International Spokesman, Ambassador Dr. Emmanuel Nkweke, said the security dialogue was designed to strengthen peace, security and sustainable development through advocacy, diplomacy and strategic partnerships among government institutions, security agencies, civil society organisations and community stakeholders.

The IAWPA International Director, Prof. Chidi Ehiriodo, also congratulated Ajibola on the recognition, urging him to regard the honour as a renewed responsibility to sustain responsible leadership and contribute meaningfully to peace, social stability and sustainable development in Nigeria.
