ABUJA — Aleshinloye Sarat Abiola, Chief Executive Officer of Niftyminds Education Consult, has earned an international Montessori certification from the International Montessori Teachers Training Institute (IMTTI), marking another major milestone in her professional career and commitment to advancing quality early childhood education.

The certification is expected to further strengthen Abiola’s expertise in Montessori education while equipping her with specialised knowledge and practical skills to support effective teaching and learning among young children, particularly at the preschool level.

The IMTTI programme focuses on children between the ages of three and six years, providing educators with professional training in areas such as child psychology, practical life activities and child-centred learning methods.

The Montessori approach encourages children to learn through exploration, purposeful activities and independence, while recognising their individual abilities and developmental needs. The training therefore provides educators with practical tools for creating supportive and engaging learning environments.

Speaking on the achievement, Abiola expressed gratitude for the opportunity to broaden her professional knowledge, describing the certification as an important step in her continued commitment to improving early childhood education.

“This certification is more than a professional qualification for me; it is another opportunity to deepen my understanding of how children learn, grow and develop. I look forward to applying the knowledge acquired to support children, educators and families and to contribute to an educational system where every child is given the right environment to discover and maximise their potential.”»

The international certification is designed to prepare educators for teaching in preschool environments both locally and internationally, giving participants exposure to globally recognised Montessori educational practices and methodologies.

Abiola’s latest qualification also reflects the growing importance of continuous professional development in the education sector, particularly as stakeholders continue to seek innovative approaches capable of improving learning outcomes and strengthening the foundation of children's education.

As CEO of Niftyminds Education Consult, the new certification is expected to enhance Abiola’s capacity to provide educational consultancy services while promoting child-centred learning and professional excellence among educators.

The achievement further positions Aleshinloye Sarat Abiola as a growing voice in early childhood education, with her new Montessori credentials adding fresh strength to her vision of supporting quality, innovative and globally relevant education for young learners.
