Applause as Muhammad Jamiu bags Prowess Varsity doctorate degree
Honourable Muhammad Jamiu Isa has been confered with an Honorary Doctorate Degree (Honoris Causa) and Distinguished Fellow Award by Prowess University in Delaware, United States, and Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management (CIISM) Nigeria.
Hon. Muhammad was honoured alongside other eminent Nigerians drawn from different backgrounds at the 10th edition of the prestigious annual Lecture Awards and Summit, which took place on Saturday at the University of Abuja main campus, attracted dignitaries from all walks of life to grace the prestigious event.
Saturday Newsway Media reports that Dr. Muhammad Jamiu, renowned politician and a seasoned administrator was conferred with a Doctor of Philosophy. It was learnt that, this award is in lieu of his great passion for humanity as the man of high repute and hard working, goal oriented individual, who places a great value on his integrity with achievements in Youth empowerment and development as a leadership dexterity par excellence”
The conferment ceremony which took place in Abuja being 22nd June, 2024, further reinforces Muhammad's commitment to excellence and his role as a thought leader in shaping the future of Nigeria youth
African representative of the Prowess University, Dr Eze Nwauba who conducted the conferment rites, urged the recipients of the honour to be good ambassadors of the university.
"He explained that Jamiu and others were honoured with the doctorate degree because of thier prudence, integrity and excellence in leadership, and service to humanity.
"He, therefore, urged the awardees to see the honour as a ‘higher calling’ towards deeper commitment to peace building in Nigeria, Africa and the world at large.
“We are building a movement involving all sectors of the society that promote peace and unity in Africa.
“There is no better time than this to honour outstanding personalities like you, so together we can build a global partnership for peace,” he said.
