Nwankwo Francisca Inducted into Chartered Institute of HR Management, Eyes Better Workplace Relations

ABUJA — Nwankwo Francisca has been inducted into the Chartered Institute of Human Resources Management, Nigeria, pledging to apply the knowledge and experience acquired towards improving workplace relationships and promoting effective employee welfare.

Francisca formally joined the professional body during its 2026 Annual Conference and Induction Ceremony, held at the Nigeria Merit Award House, Maitama, Abuja. The ceremony brought together human resources professionals, practitioners and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge and examine emerging trends shaping human resources management in Nigeria.

Speaking after her induction, Francisca expressed delight at becoming a member of the Institute, describing the experience as an important step in her professional development. She said the knowledge acquired during the programme would make her more grounded and better equipped to handle responsibilities in her workplace.

According to her, the experience would particularly help her understand and manage workplace relationships more effectively, while also improving her approach to the welfare and wellbeing of workers.

Francisca said effective human resources management goes beyond administrative responsibilities, stressing the importance of understanding people, maintaining healthy professional relationships and creating an environment where workers can perform effectively.

She noted that continuous learning and professional development were necessary for anyone seeking to remain relevant and effective in the modern workplace. She said her membership of the Institute would provide her with opportunities to deepen her knowledge, learn from experienced professionals and improve her contribution to organisational growth.

The new member pledged to uphold the ethics, values and professional standards of the Chartered Institute of Human Resources Management, Nigeria, stressing that professionalism, competence and integrity were essential to effective people management.
