Fiona Irekpita Joins Chartered Institute of HR Management, Pledges to Add Value to Profession

ABUJA — Educationist Fiona Irekpita has joined the growing community of professionals at the Chartered Institute of Human Resources Management, Nigeria, pledging to deploy her knowledge, experience and renewed professional commitment towards adding value to the human resources profession.

Irekpita formally joined the Institute during its 2026 Annual Conference and Induction Ceremony, held at the Nigeria Merit Award House, Maitama, Abuja. The event brought together human resources professionals, practitioners and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge, examine emerging workplace dynamics and deliberate on the future direction of human resources management in Nigeria.

Speaking after her induction, Irekpita expressed delight at the opportunity to become part of the professional body, saying the experience had strengthened her resolve to approach her responsibilities with greater focus, enthusiasm and a commitment to adding value. She noted that continuous professional development was essential for practitioners seeking to remain relevant in an increasingly dynamic workplace environment.
