Game Changer Conference: Joshua Oluwasujibomi Komolafe Calls for Purpose-Driven Youth Leadership to Close Nigeria's Perception Gap

ABUJA – Founder of The Limitless Tribe, Joshua Oluwasujibomi Komolafe, has called on Nigerian youths to embrace purpose-driven leadership, innovation and patriotism as the foundation for national transformation, declaring that closing Nigeria's perception gap begins with raising a generation committed to solving societal challenges rather than pursuing personal success alone.

Komolafe made the call on Wednesday at the 2026 Game Changer Conference in Abuja, which brought together youth leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals and development advocates under the theme, "Closing the Perception Gap." The conference examined how young Nigerians can reshape public perception by building lives of purpose, creating value and contributing meaningfully to the nation's social and economic development.

In his opening remarks, the convener said the conference was conceived to challenge conventional definitions of success and inspire a shift from individual achievements to collective national progress. He maintained that vibrant and prosperous societies are sustained by citizens who contribute to their communities, build institutions and create opportunities for others, rather than merely consuming available resources.

According to Komolafe, Nigeria's greatest asset remains its youthful population, but unlocking that potential requires intentional leadership, clarity of purpose and a commitment to service. He urged participants to become solution providers capable of addressing challenges in governance, business, technology, education and community development, stressing that true success is measured by the lives transformed and the legacy left behind.

Delivering a keynote address on "The Power of Clarity," Mrs. Adek Bassey emphasised that purpose remains the compass for sustainable leadership and lasting success. She said individuals who understand their "why" possess the resilience to overcome adversity, resist distractions and remain focused on building solutions that positively impact society.

Also speaking, Pastor Michael Ani challenged participants to expand the capacity of their dreams by adopting a global outlook. He explained that humanity's divine mandate to replenish the earth demands continuous innovation and improvement, urging young Nigerians to think beyond limitations, embrace creativity and position themselves as global solution providers capable of competing with the best in the world.

In a passionate presentation on patriotism, audacity and legacy, Mrs. Ebimoboere Elezieanya encouraged participants to reject mediocrity and become courageous leaders who will shape Nigeria's future through excellence, integrity and selfless service. She noted that meaningful national development requires young people who are willing to take responsibility for changing negative narratives through their actions and achievements.

The conference also featured an interactive panel session where speakers and participants examined practical strategies for closing the perception gap through entrepreneurship, collaboration, innovation and responsible citizenship. Organisers disclosed that the event was held in partnership with AfriVate, Todays Skill Hub Academy, Webverto, Amplifiers TV, JOK, Beez Academy, Jela's Development Initiative, and the National Youth Assembly of Nigeria to expand opportunities for mentorship, skills acquisition and youth empowerment.

In a communiqué issued at the end of the conference, participants resolved to champion purposeful leadership, community engagement and transformational initiatives capable of accelerating Nigeria's development. The Limitless Tribe reaffirmed its commitment to building a network of young leaders equipped with the values, skills and partnerships required to close the nation's perception gap, inspire hope and drive sustainable national progress.
