Game Changer Conference: Joshua Oluwasujibomi Komolafe Urges Nigerian Youths to Close Perception Gap, Build Lasting National Impact

ABUJA — Founder of The Limitless Tribe and Convener of The Game Changer Conference, Joshua Oluwasujibomi Komolafe, has challenged Nigerian youths to redefine success beyond personal achievements by embracing purposeful leadership, innovation and nation-building, declaring that the country's future rests on a generation committed to creating lasting value and transforming society.

Komolafe made the call at the 2026 edition of The Game Changer Conference held in Abuja under the theme, "Closing the Perception Gap," where youth leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs and development advocates gathered to examine the role of young Nigerians in shaping the country's economic, social and leadership landscape. He said the conference was conceived to challenge prevailing perceptions of success and inspire young people to pursue significance through service, enterprise and community impact.

Addressing participants, the convener observed that societies flourish when citizens become contributors rather than spectators, stressing that sustainable national development requires individuals who are willing to build institutions, create opportunities and solve societal challenges. According to him, true success is not measured by personal comfort or material acquisition alone, but by the ability to positively influence lives and strengthen communities.

"We must deliberately cultivate a generation that gives back to society. Nations rise when their young people become solution providers, innovators and responsible leaders. Our greatest legacy will not be what we acquire but what we contribute to humanity," Komolafe said.

In her keynote presentation titled "The Power of Clarity," Mrs. Adek Bassey underscored the importance of purpose-driven leadership, noting that clarity of vision remains the foundation for resilience and sustainable success. She maintained that individuals who possess a compelling sense of purpose are better equipped to overcome adversity, remain focused amid distractions and build solutions capable of creating meaningful change in society.

Also speaking, Pastor Michael Ani urged participants to enlarge their vision and embrace a global outlook, saying humanity's divine mandate to replenish the earth demands continuous innovation and improvement of existing systems. He encouraged young Nigerians to reject limiting beliefs and develop ideas that can compete on the global stage while contributing to national development.

Delivering a stirring charge on patriotism, audacity and legacy, Mrs. Ebimoboere Elezieanya called on Nigerian youths to embrace courage, excellence and integrity in leadership. She urged participants to rise above mediocrity, become ambassadors of positive change and build enduring legacies through selfless service, innovation and unwavering commitment to the nation's progress.

The conference also featured a high-level interactive panel session during which participants examined practical strategies for closing the perception gap through entrepreneurship, collaboration, innovation and responsible citizenship. Organisers said the event was held in partnership with AfriVate, Todays Skill Hub Academy, Webverto, Amplifiers TV, JOK, Beez Academy, Jela's Development Initiative, and the National Youth Assembly of Nigeria, with the partnerships aimed at expanding opportunities for youth empowerment and leadership development.

In a communiqué issued at the end of the conference, participants resolved to champion purposeful leadership, community engagement and transformational initiatives capable of accelerating Nigeria's development. They also reaffirmed their commitment to building networks that nurture innovation, entrepreneurship and responsible citizenship, while The Limitless Tribe pledged to sustain platforms that equip young Nigerians with the mindset, skills and strategic partnerships required to close the perception gap and become drivers of national progress.
