ABUJA, July 9, 2026 – The Convener of the Asiwaju Renewed Hope Mobilization Alliance (ARHMA), Amb. Dr. Temitope Eluyemi Balogun ("Auto"), has declared the alliance's readiness to commence an aggressive nationwide grassroots mobilisation campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections, reaffirming its commitment to supporting the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in recognition of what she described as the administration's impactful policies and people-centred programmes.

Amb. Balogun made the declaration while addressing members of the alliance and supporters in Abuja, saying ARHMA has activated its nationwide mobilisation structure to engage millions of Nigerians—particularly youths, women, students, artisans, farmers and grassroots communities—in promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to her, the alliance, which serves as the mobilisation platform of the Women and Youths Agricultural Gender Protection and Literacy Development Initiative Africa, is committed to expanding civic participation, promoting inclusive development and encouraging greater involvement of young people and women in Nigeria's democratic process.

She stated that President Tinubu's administration has introduced reforms and intervention programmes that are creating opportunities for Nigerians despite prevailing economic challenges.

Among the initiatives she highlighted was the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which she described as one of the administration's most significant achievements in the education sector.

"The NELFUND initiative has restored hope to thousands of Nigerian students by making tertiary education more accessible. It is an investment in the future of our nation because education remains one of the greatest tools for national transformation," she said.

Amb. Balogun also applauded the administration's efforts in youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, agricultural development and economic reforms, maintaining that the programmes are laying the foundation for sustainable national growth.

She stressed that ARHMA would embark on an extensive nationwide mobilisation campaign through community engagements, ward meetings, town hall consultations, youth conferences, women empowerment forums, stakeholder dialogues and strategic advocacy across the six geopolitical zones.

"Our mission is to ensure that the Renewed Hope Agenda reaches every community in Nigeria. We are building a movement that gives ordinary citizens a voice and encourages them to participate actively in governance and national development. We believe that continuity will enable the administration to consolidate the gains already recorded."

The convener noted that women and youths remain the backbone of every successful democratic movement, adding that ARHMA would continue investing in leadership development, civic education, agricultural inclusion, literacy programmes and grassroots capacity building.

She explained that the alliance would work closely with community leaders, traditional institutions, faith-based organisations, market associations, professional bodies and youth groups to strengthen public awareness of government policies and encourage peaceful democratic participation.

According to her, the mobilisation campaign would also focus on expanding opportunities for women, promoting youth leadership, encouraging voter participation and supporting programmes that improve livelihoods at the grassroots.

Amb. Balogun urged Nigerians to remain united and continue supporting the Federal Government's development agenda, expressing confidence that ongoing reforms would produce long-term benefits for the country.

"We are convinced that the Renewed Hope Agenda is setting Nigeria on the path of sustainable development. Our responsibility as a grassroots movement is to educate, mobilise and inspire citizens to participate constructively in building a stronger, more prosperous and united nation."

She called on women, youths and all Nigerians to embrace peace, national unity and democratic values while actively participating in the country's political process.

The ARHMA Convener reaffirmed the alliance's commitment to building one of Nigeria's strongest grassroots mobilisation platforms, declaring that its nationwide campaign would be driven by the principles of inclusive development, youth empowerment, women participation, agricultural advancement and civic responsibility.

She expressed optimism that, through sustained grassroots engagement and community mobilisation, the alliance would contribute meaningfully to strengthening democratic participation and advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda across Nigeria.
