The large-scale intervention, which has become an annual signature of the Foundation, reflected Dr. Gbadewole's unwavering commitment to poverty alleviation, entrepreneurship development and inclusive social welfare. The colourful grand finale was held at Staff Community School, Asokoro, Abuja, where compassion, celebration and service were seamlessly woven together. Unlike the previous anniversary, during which Dr. Gbadewole donated a fully constructed Primary Health Care Centre to the Kobi Community in Asokoro, this year's intervention focused on strengthening entrepreneurship and economic resilience by equipping beneficiaries with financial resources and business tools capable of generating sustainable income.
Addressing participants, Ambassador Dr. Mary Olubunmi Gbadewole urged beneficiaries to regard the support not as mere charity but as investment capital designed to transform their future. Reflecting on the origin of the empowerment programme, Dr. Gbadewole disclosed that the initiative was inaugurated in 2023 following what she described as a divine instruction from the Holy Spirit. Beginning with only 100 beneficiaries, she noted, the programme has expanded remarkably over the years owing to overwhelming testimonies from previous recipients whose businesses and livelihoods have been transformed through the Foundation's interventions.
