In a significant political development ahead of the 2027 general elections, Chief Adam Marbo has officially obtained the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) nomination and expression of interest forms to contest for the Warri Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, unveiling a reform-oriented agenda anchored on inclusive governance, effective representation, and people-centered leadership.

Addressing journalists shortly after the procurement of his party nomination forms, Chief Marbo articulated a deliberate political philosophy centred on transformative representation, stressing that legislative service must translate into visible socio-economic impact within constituents’ daily lived experiences.

He emphasized that his aspiration is not merely political, but fundamentally developmental, designed to bridge governance deficits and reposition Warri Federal Constituency for sustainable growth and equitable inclusion.

According to him, “The essence of representation is not symbolism, but tangible impact that reflects in the practical realities of the people.”

Chief Marbo further declared that the 2027 electoral cycle represents a critical juncture in Nigeria’s democratic evolution, expressing confidence that the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) embodies a new ideological direction capable of restoring faith in governance, strengthening institutional accountability, and deepening the principles of federalism.

He posited that with the emergence of the NDC, Nigerians will witness what he described as “a redefined democratic order anchored on transparency, inclusiveness, and people-driven leadership architecture.”

“In 2027, under the ideological framework of the NDC, Nigerians will begin to experience authentic democracy, functional federalism, and leadership that is genuinely responsive to the aspirations of the people,” he stated.

Chief Marbo also issued a passionate call to Nigerian youths, urging them to take ownership of the democratic process by participating actively and decisively in the forthcoming elections, noting that their civic engagement remains pivotal to national transformation.

“The youth population remains the strongest force in shaping Nigeria’s political future. I urge them to mobilize, participate, and vote massively for a leadership structure that prioritizes their future and collective progress,” he added.

Political analysts have described his entry into the race as part of a growing wave of aspirants within Warri Federal Constituency seeking to redefine representation and reposition governance discourse ahead of the 2027 general elections, particularly under emerging political platforms advocating structural reform and inclusive development.
