ABUJA — Akwanga/Nasarawa Eggon Federal Constituency aspirant under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Mary Enwongulu, has reaffirmed her commitment to people-centered representation and participatory governance during the party’s screening exercise ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The former Minority Leader reiterated that her political philosophy remains deeply rooted in grassroots accountability, inclusive leadership, and developmental representation, stressing that her legislative experience has consistently been anchored on delivering tangible dividends of democracy to her constituents.

Hon. Enwongulu noted that her aspiration is driven by a renewed commitment to expand constituency development, strengthen social welfare interventions, and ensure that federal representation translates into measurable impact for communities across Akwanga and Nasarawa Eggon.

She further expressed confidence in the ongoing internal democratic processes of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, commending the leadership of the party for what she described as a peaceful, transparent, and well-coordinated screening exercise that reflects institutional discipline and growing political maturity.
