Hon. Agbede Olanike Backs Tinubu’s Re-election, Says He Deserves Second Tenure
ABUJA — Honourable Agbede Olanike, Councillor representing Ijebu 2 Ward 5, Akeredolu Ward in Ondo State, has declared strong support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that he deserves a second tenure based on his performance in office.
She made this known while speaking with journalists at the 2026 National Solidarity Convention of the Progressive Serving Councillors’ Forum of Nigeria, held at Green Minds Hotel, Utako, Abuja. The convention brought together councillors and political stakeholders from across the country under the theme “Towards Achieving an Incontestable and Non-Reversible Victory in the 2027 Election for APC Through Aggressive Grassroots Mobilization.”
Hon. Olanike noted that the current administration has recorded notable progress in key sectors including education, infrastructure, healthcare, and social development. She described these achievements as evidence of purposeful governance and effective policy implementation.
According to her, President Tinubu deserves re-election, emphasizing that continuity in leadership would help consolidate ongoing reforms and further strengthen national development efforts.
She further urged party members and grassroots mobilizers to intensify efforts in rallying support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections, stressing that unity and effective coordination remain key to electoral success.
In a related remark, Hon. Olanike also commended the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for his commitment to good governance and developmental strides across the state.
She noted that the administration has recorded visible improvements in infrastructure development, education, healthcare delivery, and social welfare initiatives, which she said have positively impacted the lives of citizens.
According to her, Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership reflects a clear commitment to grassroots development and improved service delivery, adding that Ondo State is witnessing steady progress under his watch.
Hon. Olanike maintained that with sustained unity, strategic mobilisation, and strong leadership at both federal and state levels, the APC is well-positioned to secure a decisive and incontestable victory in the 2027 general elections.
