Accolades as Cleo Nelson-Adoga Bags Prestigious Peace Ambassador Award

The Peace Ambassadors Advocacy Network has conferred the prestigious Peace Ambassador Award on Ambassador Cleo Nelson-Adoga, in recognition of her exceptional humanitarian leadership, unwavering commitment to peacebuilding, and sustained contributions to socio-economic development in Nigeria and beyond.

Ambassador Nelson-Adoga, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rise & Thrive Humanitarian Foundation, is widely acclaimed for her visionary leadership in advancing women empowerment, with particular emphasis on agricultural development, education, and community-based sustainability programmes aligned with SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 4 (Quality Education).

Her humanitarian trajectory reflects a consistent and purposeful engagement in strengthening livelihoods, enhancing food security systems, and promoting inclusive empowerment frameworks designed to uplift women and vulnerable populations across underserved communities.

According to her, the recognition is a product of years of dedicated humanitarian service, strategic community intervention, and an unwavering commitment to transformative impact at the grassroots level.

While speaking with Newsway Media, Ambassador Nelson-Adoga described the award as a profound “call to greater responsibility,” noting that the honour humbles her deeply while further strengthening her resolve to intensify her humanitarian outreach and developmental initiatives.

She further stated that the recognition serves as renewed motivation to expand the scope of her foundation’s interventions, particularly in empowering women in agriculture and advancing educational opportunities for sustainable community transformation.

In a moment of reflection, she dedicated the award to God Almighty, expressing profound gratitude for the divine grace that has enabled her humanitarian works to be acknowledged and celebrated.

Speaking during the presentation ceremony, the President of the Peace Ambassadors Advocacy Network, Ambassador Kingsley Onuche, commended her outstanding contributions, describing her as a distinguished embodiment of service, compassion, and transformative leadership. 

The award presentation, held at the illustrious Los Angeles Centre, Kado, Abuja, attracted dignitaries, stakeholders, and members of the Peace Ambassadors Advocacy Network in a solemn yet celebratory atmosphere dedicated to peace, unity, and development.
