DG, accord party, jibrin calls on kuje residents to vote accord party candidate

Kuje—As the 2026 political season gains momentum, the Director-General of the Accord Party Campaign Council in Kuje Area Council, Hon. Jibrin Ilyasu Abdullahi, has called on residents to support the Accord Party candidate, Hon. Jerry Samuel Tika, urging that credibility, competence, and integrity guide their choice of leadership.

Speaking to Newsway reporters at the grand turbaning ceremony organized by the Gomor Emirate Council, Hon. Abdullahi stressed that the upcoming elections provide an opportunity for citizens to elect leaders with proven records of service and a genuine commitment to community development. He advised voters to prioritize merit over party sentiment alone.

The ceremony, presided over by His Royal Highness, the Gomo of Kuje, Alhaji Haruna Tanko Jibrin, honoured eight distinguished individuals, reflecting the emirate’s enduring role in recognising excellence and promoting community values. The event brought together traditional leaders, dignitaries, and residents, radiating cultural splendour and unity.
