PBAT Ward 2Ward Grassroot Endorses President Tinubu for Second Term, Inaugurates National Executive Across Zones

In a decisive move that signals early political mobilization toward the 2027 general elections, the PBAT Ward 2Ward Grassroot Movement has formally endorsed His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for a second term in office.

The endorsement, made public during the official inauguration of the group’s national and zonal executive members across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, underscores a renewed commitment to consolidate the Renewed Hope Agenda at the grassroots level.

Held in Abuja, the event drew coordinators and political mobilizers from all parts of the country, reflecting a growing synergy between grassroots structures and national leadership in preparation for 2027.

The Director General of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), Dr. Umar Tanko Yakasai, has applauded the initiative of Hon. Obi Opara, describing it as a commendable stride towards strengthening the grassroots political structure in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Yakasai expressed his delight and admiration for the efforts of the young ambassador, noting that “many supporters of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu are now constituting themselves into organized groups, taking up the responsibility of mobilization and investing their personal resources to promote the good works of Mr. President.”

He further commended the group for rekindling campaign activities and publicizing the laudable achievements of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, especially at the grassroots level.

According to Dr. Yakasai, “The convener, Hon. Obi Opara, has taken the right step in the right direction as we begin to prepare for the 2027 electioneering campaign. This is a clear sign of loyalty, commitment, and readiness to consolidate on the renewed hope agenda.”

The DG assured the group of his full support at every level, emphasizing that their effort aligns with the national objective of sustaining good governance under President Tinubu’s leadership.

A Movement Rooted in Renewed Hope

Addressing attendees, Hon. Obi Opara, the Convener of the PBAT Ward 2Ward Grassroot Movement, described the inauguration as “a defining moment for every believer in the Tinubu vision of progress, peace, and unity.”

He noted that the Ward 2Ward initiative was conceived to bridge the gap between leadership and the citizenry by strengthening political engagement at the most fundamental level — the ward.

“Today’s inauguration marks not just the beginning of a new chapter, but a collective awakening — a people-driven movement dedicated to sustaining the Renewed Hope vision of our President,”
Hon. Opara declared.

According to him, the PBAT Ward 2Ward Grassroot structure now spans all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with coordinators positioned to anchor political enlightenment and mobilization efforts in every ward across the nation.

Mandate Presentation to TSG DG

During the event, Hon. Obi Opara formally presented the newly inaugurated executive members to Dr. Umar Tanko Yakasai, the Director-General of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), for strategic collaboration and coordination of electioneering efforts.

Dr. Yakasai commended the group’s commitment and described its structure as “a vital grassroots force that embodies the spirit of the Renewed Hope Agenda.” He urged members to maintain unity of purpose and uphold the values of integrity, loyalty, and consistency as they embark on the national mobilization drive.

Political Vision for 2027

Hon. Opara further emphasized that the PBAT Ward 2Ward Grassroot Movement is not merely a support group but a strategic political network designed to sustain the Tinubu administration’s developmental blueprint.

 “Our mission is to ensure that every ward, community, and local government feels the pulse of Renewed Hope — to interpret the President’s vision in tangible realities across Nigeria,”
he asserted.

He stressed that the group would continue to monitor and project the achievements of the Tinubu-led administration while mobilizing public support for the continuation of its reform policies and people-centered governance.

A Call for Unity and Continuity

The convener called on Nigerians to remain steadfast and united, noting that the Renewed Hope Agenda has begun to lay the foundation for national rebirth.

 “Together we stand as true ambassadors of progress, peace, and unity. The Renewed Hope vision is not a slogan — it is a call to service, discipline, and continuity,”
Hon. Opara concluded.
