His professional trajectory began at the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC), where his early brilliance in strategic planning and economic evaluation of development projects set him apart as a future industry leader. His ascent through the ranks culminated in his appointment as Manager and Local Reserve Evaluator for Eni’s Nigerian operations, a role in which he spearheaded multi-disciplinary teams responsible for reserves estimation, field development strategies, and asset optimization.
Beyond corporate responsibilities, Engr. Bob-Manuel’s national impact was profoundly felt when he served on the National Committee for Hydrocarbon Reserves Standards Review, contributing to the modernization of the Nigerian National Standard 1 (NNS1) for hydrocarbon reserves reporting—an enduring legacy that reinforces transparency and technical credibility in Nigeria’s petroleum reporting system.
Currently, as Manager, Technical Liaison Services at Oando Energy Resources, he functions at the confluence of technical coordination and corporate strategy, bridging operational realities with executive decision-making to ensure alignment with global best practices.
