The atmosphere at the prestigious Barcelona Hotel, Abuja, on Saturday Evening was nothing short of electric. Beneath glittering chandeliers and in the presence of diplomats, policymakers, academics, and development leaders, Bahago I. Nosah was conferred with the coveted Research Fellowship Award of the Institute of Global Peace and Conflict Management, a moment that marked the culmination of years of service, resilience, and visionary leadership.

As the searchlight fell on Nosah on that fateful day, August 30, 2025, the atmosphere brimmed with admiration, a standing ovation for a man whose career has been etched in the chronicles of service, innovation, and humanity.

With over 15 years of expertise, he has mastered the delicate art of bringing together communities, stakeholders, and institutions to address complex challenges in public health, nutrition, livelihood resilience, and emergency response. 

His academic portfolio is equally impressive: a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science, a Master’s in Public Health Promotion and Education, and advanced postgraduate training in Disaster and Risk Management, Agroecology & Food Systems, and Environmental Health & Safety.

“He is currently serving as the Focal Person at the community level for Mobilization, Advocacy, and Stakeholder Engagement with Action Against Hunger International, where he drives EU-funded interventions that strengthen food security, nutrition, and livelihoods across Northern Nigeria.”

His influence extends far beyond , through impactful contributions to projects funded by the United Nations, KNCV, Albarka Health Spring Foundation, Innovations for Poverty Action, Agricultural Development Program, and Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.
