A Royal Tribute to a Noble Statesman: His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari GCFR
With a heavy heart and in solemn reflection, His High Royal Eminence, Chief Ambassador Ojo Patrick Idowu JP, the 1st San Turakin Ngaski, extends his deepest condolences to the people and government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria over the transition of His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari, former President of Nigeria, who passed away in London.
In this moment of national grief, the 1st San Turakin Ngaski described the late President as “a man of immense stature, whose leadership was guided by principle, discipline, and an unwavering dedication to the Nigerian nation.” He noted that President Buhari stood tall among his peers as a symbol of integrity and steadfastness—traits that will be remembered for generations.
"His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari was not only a leader of men, but a guardian of national values, a steward of public trust, and a father to many across the land. His voice was firm, his heart committed, and his legacy indelible," the Royal Father declared.
As a spiritual duty, His High Royal Eminence offered prayers, invoking the Almighty:
"May Allah, the Most Merciful, forgive his shortcomings, envelop him with divine mercy, and grant him eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus."
In this period of mourning, the Royal Office calls upon all citizens to honor the memory of the departed with unity, peace, and a renewed sense of patriotism.
The Office of the 1st San Turakin Ngaski joins millions of Nigerians and friends of the country across the world in mourning a great son of Africa.
