Connect Her Network to Launch Women’s Empowerment App at Abuja Conference

By Genesis ogiri

Abuja, Nigeria — The Connect Network Foundation, under the leadership of Ambassador Ojiah Victoria Ogwuche, is set to launch the Connect Her Network Mobile App, a transformative digital platform designed to advance women’s empowerment through technology, access to data, and strategic visibility.

The official unveiling will take place during the Connect Her Network Conference 2.0, themed “League of Extraordinary Women: Timeless Impact”, scheduled for August 9, 2025, at the Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja.

According to Ambassador Ogwuche, the app is the first of its kind in Africa, offering a real-time, inclusive digital ecosystem that connects women across professions, geographic locations, and development sectors. The platform is designed to eliminate systemic barriers and provide seamless access to funding opportunities, mentorship, certified training, and collaborative networks for women at every level.

“Access and visibility are not privileges—they are essential rights,” said Ambassador  Ojiah Victoria Ogwuche, Executive Director of Connect Network Foundation. “This platform is more than an app—it’s a movement. A movement to ensure that every woman is seen, supported, and strategically positioned to lead.”

Ambassador Ogwuche outlined the core features of the app as follows:

Geo-Indexed Directory: Enables users to discover and connect with women professionals and entrepreneurs based on location or area of expertise.

Opportunity Hub: A centralized portal featuring funding, grants, and career development programs from credible institutions and sponsors.

Verified Training Programs: Offers free access to certification programs from reputable global institutions starting at launch.

Community Circles: Allows users to create or join women-led communities based on shared interests, professions, or advocacy goals.

Data for Development: Provides real-time analytics for NGOs and development partners to design more inclusive and targeted interventions.

The platform also includes a sponsorship visibility suite, allowing partners to engage users through branded showcases, program listings, and quarterly spotlight features. All sponsor organizations will be prominently featured under the “Our Partners” section with permanent recognition.

Connect Network Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to closing the gender gap by promoting access to education, entrepreneurship, digital inclusion, and high-impact networking. The foundation ensures that women—regardless of background or geographic location—have access to the tools, resources, and networks they need to thrive and lead.

The launch of the Connect Her Network Mobile App represents a bold and timely step toward gender equity in Africa and beyond. By integrating technology, data, and community, the Connect Network Foundation is not only providing women with access—but creating a sustainable ecosystem for leadership, growth, and collaboration. As the world embraces digital transformation, this platform ensures that African women are not left behind, but are equipped, empowered, and positioned to lead.

Stakeholders, partners, and the general public are invited to join this historic moment at the Connect Her Network Conference 2.0 and be part of a movement that is redefining how women connect, thrive, and create impact.
