Understanding the "Strange Land" Season
The strange land—or what can be called the "strangyland"—is more than just a physical location. It is a spiritual season:
A time marked by confusion, transition, or divine setup, where believers often feel out of place, unseen, or misunderstood—yet, God is still at work behind the scenes.
1. Strangyland Is a Season of Divine Setup
It is the place where God takes you out of comfort to shape your calling.
Just like Joseph in Egypt and Daniel in Babylon, what looks like exile is actually God's platform for elevation.
2. Strangyland Is a Season of Sorrow and Longing
Psalm 137:1 says:
“By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.”
The strange land can be a place of weeping, reflection, and longing for restoration—but also where God births new songs and fresh hope.
3. Strangyland Is a Place of Hidden Purpose
You may feel displaced, but you are not misplaced.
God uses strange lands to prepare, prune, and position His people for something greater.
“And the Lord was with Joseph…” (Genesis 39:2) — even in the strange land.
Apostolic Declaration:
Beloved, the strange land is not your end—it’s your beginning.
If God is with you in the wilderness, your Canaan is closer than it looks.
You may be in a strange land, but you are still in the center of divine purpose.
