Ambassador Asher Kayode Adewumi has called on Nigerians to demonstrate good conscience in their daily lives. " He made the call at the International Day of Conscience observed on April 5, 2025, in Abuja, Nigeria, under the theme "The Power of Conscience in Cultivating a Culture of Peace and Unlocking Economic Development Growth in Nigeria." Organized by the "I Have Conscience Foundation," the event highlighted the role of conscience-driven actions in promoting peace and economic progress. Established by the UN in 2019, this global observance encourages individuals and communities to embrace values such as love, peace, and ethical leadership to tackle societal challenges.

Ambassador Asher Kayode Adewumi, CEO of the I Have Conscience Foundation, stressed the importance of the International Day of Conscience as a time for reflecting on personal actions and their potential to create a more compassionate and inclusive world.
