Glitz, thrills as Akume, Folashade Tinubu -Ojo, Ishegbe , Akutah, others win Top10 Magazine Awards

The Top10 Magazine Personality of the Year 2024 Awards was a glamorous evening celebrating 21 distinguished Nigerians and one Cameroonian for their outstanding achievements across various fields.

While Maintaining its tradition of excellence, the 2024 Top10 Magazine Personality of the Year Awards delivered a spectacular display of glamour and entertainment, exceeding expectations.

The Management of Lagos-based Toncam Communications Limited, publishers of The Top10 Magazine, recently stormed Abuja with the Magazine’s 2024 Awards ceremony. The momentous occasion Held at the Samdralia Hotel Jabi District of the Nation’s capital, Abuja .

As usual, the event featured a parade of some of the best achievers in varying fields, including politics and leadership, business, arts and culture, etc, in Nigeria

Those who were celebrated on Saturday were  Sen. George Akume, SGF man of the year,  Dr.Uche Ogah, Business Man of the year, Chief Folashade Tinubu -Ojo, woman of the year, Akuta Pius, Regulator of the year, Dr Vincent Ikape Ishegbe, Public official of the year, Dr Musa Adamu Aliyu, Anti- corruption Champion of the year,  who were joint Personality of the year awardees.

Also honoured were, Musawa Hannatu, female Public servant of the year, Dayo Israel, political Mobilizer of the Year, Nfor Bright, Celebrity Chef of the year, Adetokumbo Ajibola, Diaspora Nigerian Business Icon, Temitope Mayegun, Lola Andy, Ambassador Hussain Coomassie, and Ehi ogbebor

It was a veritable celebration in every respect as the award recipients, their supporters and other guests created a festive atmosphere as they were being ushered into the hall and in fact while the event lasted.

Demonstrating an eagerness to be part of the celebration right from the beginning, the guests started arriving as early as 5pm, with some of them, especially the ladies, proudly strutting the Red Carpet to show off their fashionable attires.

They also used the opportunity to take photographs, making the Red Carpet a bubbling photoshoot scene. Most of the award recipients also made a remarkable show of their arrivals, with members of their entourage and other supporters singing and dancing boisterously to express their joy.

The event witnessed the celebration of individuals and organizations who distinguished themselves as the leading lights of their sectors during the year, including the past Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Alhaji Muhammad Nami, as the keynote Speaker 

Alhaji Nami, in a captivating address, highlighted the crucial need for the Tax Reform Bill's passage into law. He urged audience members and the general public to support the bill, emphasizing its importance in significantly increasing national revenue. He further pressed the National Assembly to expedite the bill's passage.

"He stressed the urgent need for the bill's passage, urging opponents to prioritize the public good and set aside their disagreements, as its enactment would significantly enhance the nation's economy.

 while Welcoming guests to the colorful event, publisher of the Top10 Magazine, Mr. Tony Iji, said the landmark is to celebrate outstanding achievers.

Saturday Newsway Media reports that Top 10 magazine winners of the awards are normally selected based on their outstanding accomplishments in their various endeavours. They emerged after a rigorous selection process.
