Suleiman Abubakar receives fellowship, award of excellence from Management Institute

Dr Suleiman Abubakar, deputy director (Accounts) FCT Universal Basic Education Board Abuja. has been awarded a prestigious Fellowship by the Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management (IBDFM), in recognition of his Academic, professional and career achievements.

According to a statement issued by the Registrar and Secretary to the Council, Dr Sukana Danjuma Tursha, the Institute also presented Dr Suleiman Abubakar with an Award of Excellence in recognition of his efforts in human capital development and resource management.

The recognition was conferred by  the Institute’s Governing Council, led by (Dr.) Gado Shehu, during an investiture Ceremony at the Top view hotel in Abuja .

"It said that the decision to honor Suleiman Abubakar with the Institute’s highest Fellowship and an Award of Excellence came after extensive research into his effective management of both human and financial resources.

The event was a resounding success, with the highlight being the induction of Suleiman Abubakar as a Fellow of the Institute.

In his response, Suleiman expressed gratitude for the fellowship, thanked Almighty Allah and the institute for the honour while noting that, the recognition will spur him to do more. 


While speaking to newsmen about  the accolade, he expressed gratitude and humility, stating, “Receiving this Award is the tasks. It is a reminder of the responsibility we all bear to contribute positively to the world.

This esteemed recognition comes as a testament to Suleiman's unparalleled commitment to excellence and his significant contributions to the fields of financial management, human services, and leadership dexterity.
