BENUE ASSEMBLY LIFTS SUSPENSION ON SUBEB CHAIRMAN

The Benue State House of Assembly has lifted the suspension placed on the Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr. Grace D. Adagba, and the recruitment processes.

This decision was reached yesterday at plenary  after a thorough review of the issues surrounding the recruitment exercise at the board.

According to information released by the  Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Mr. Terver Zamber, the Assembly also recommended that  SUBEB should ensure equal employment opportunities for all local government areas in the state, with the aim of promoting fairness and equity in the state's employment practices.

The suspension was initially imposed due to allegations of irregularities in the recruitment process. However, after careful consideration, the Assembly has now lifted the suspension, allowing the recruitment process to continue.

This development is expected to bring relief to the affected parties and restore normalcy to the state's education sector.
