In a statement to the press, he emphasized that one is never too old to learn, noting that the moment an individual stops learning, they begin to stagnate. Many have relied on outdated knowledge for far too long, which is insufficient to address current challenges, while encouraging participants to continue learning in order to remain relevant in the ever-evolving work environment.

He stressed that when you stop learning, life will move forward without you, as evidenced by Nokia's gradual decline in the market resulting from their failure to adapt to the current technological landscape.

As a retired petroleum engineer with a 25-year career, he emphasized his commitment to lifelong learning. He revealed that reading is an integral part of his daily routine and shared his past experience of organizing book fairs, which aimed to inspire young people to adopt reading and learning habits.

He noted that in his efforts to contribute to education and reinvigorate the reading culture, he often visited schools to discuss the significance of reading culture.

Engr . Anthony  was among other distinguished Nigerians who were conferred with the fellowship Award, having fulfilled all the professional requirements for the conferment of the prestigious award
