USA Varsity Confers Ph.D. on Abubakar Abdullahi, Auditor General of Kaduna State

Prowess University, Delaware USA, has conferred a Doctor of Philosophy Ph'D in Financial Administration upon Abubakar Abdulahi, Kaduna state Auditor General, in recognition of his academic achievements.

Following the Faculty's recommendation and the authority of the boards of Regents, Prowess University Delaware, USA, has awarded Abubakar Abdulahi the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Financial Administration.

FRIDAY NEWSWAY As reported by the media, Prowess University honored distinguished personalities with academic and honorary awards on December 12th, 2024, at the Nigeria Army Resource Center in Abuja, in a grand ceremony.

Speaking at the event, African Representative, Prowess University and founder Institute of Arts Management & Professional Studies, Professor Eze Nwauba, explained that the event is designed to honor great Nigerians in both private and public sectors who have made valuable contributions to humanity and achieved academic excellence.

This landmark occasion assembled a diverse array of dignitaries, including high-ranking executives from the banking sector, academia, civil servants, the military, and prominent business leaders, all united in promoting excellence in leadership integrity and financial management.

The event reached its climax with resounding success, culminating in the presentation of the PhD Award to Abubakar Abdulahi as the pinnacle

At a gathering of distinguished individuals and honorees, he was prominently recognized for his contributions, alongside others who have, through their philanthropy and unwavering dedication, made a lasting impact on the lives of countless Nigerians and in career.

Dignitaries at the event were full of praises for the awardee as they said his core values are hard work, integrity, absolute sense of purpose and resilience on divine providence.

In response to the success story, Abubakar expressed his gratitude while speaking with newsmen, thanking Almighty Allah and the institution for the honour, and noting that the Doctor of Philosophy PhD Award recognition would inspire him to make further contributions.

Abubakar extols the administration of His Excellency, Gov Sani Uba, for his visionary leadership and excellence in managing the affairs of the state, while praying for divine blessings upon him

Dr. Abubakar restated his pledge to demonstrate integrity in stewardship and implement the knowledge he has gained, while charging citizens to exhibit outstanding leadership. He pointed out that a significant problem plaguing the Nigerian population is their refusal to translate the knowledge and skills acquired from training programs, seminars, and workshops into action.

"In my role as Auditor General of the state, my responsibility is to promote fiscal accountability, transparency, and to provide the public with regular feedback on the management of state funds, especially at the grassroots level

"Pursuant to his recommendation, I will advise my subordinate to participate in additional professional development programs to ensure continuous leadership integrity. Moreover, knowledge acquisition enhances the discipline of both leaders and followers in executing their governmental duties.

Reflecting on his journey, Abubakar life's story is a power of resilience, tireless ambition, unwavering commitment to excellence and seizing opportunities. From his early years marked by a hunger for Education to his unconventional path to becoming a  Doctor of Philosophy  (PhD), in financial Administration, his story serves as an inspiration to future generations
