WOMEN ACHIEVER'S AFRICA Launched In Nigeria, Rahab Agwom Azi, Country Representative

The Women Achiever's Africa an Organization dedicated to promoting women’s empowerment and celebrating excellence across Africa, has been officially launched in Nigeria, with Ambassador Princess Rahab Agwom Azi as the Country representative.

The inaugural ceremony, held over the weekend in Abuja marks a significant milestone in the recognition of African women’s remarkable journey to greatness

Ambassador Rahab, Country Representative, expressed her pride in the successful launch. “This event is a major milestone in our journey to promote women’s empowerment and excellence across Africa,” Azi stated.

"She emphasized that the platform will serve as a beacon for African women to share their experiences, network, and inspire one another, ensuring that their contributions do not go unnoticed.

One of the high points of the ceremony was the  inauguration of its Pioneer Leadership Structure. The stakeholders advocating for WAA are, Lamide Adeleye, WAA Global President, Victor Akwuadi, Chief Executive Officer and Mildred Akinye Opondo, Global Head.

Ambassador Rahab revealed that the success of the inaugural event is just the beginning, with plans already in motion for  bigger and more impactful assignments that will, further solidifying the platform for African women to be celebrated and empowered.

" She said the upcoming conference which is scheduled for  Next year July 2025 in Lagos state , Nigeria, promise to be mind-blowing, as it is going to be the gathering of eagles.

A quiet revolution is brewing across Africa, with women taking centre stage as entrepreneurs. They’re driving innovation, shaping the continent’s future, and representing a vast, untapped wellspring of talent. 

 However, despite their dedication and undeniable talent, these women entrepreneurs face a gauntlet of challenges. Limited access to funding, the scarcity of experienced mentors, and the persistence of outdated societal norms all conspire to hinder their progress.

It is on this note that, Nigeria Launched WOMEN ACHIEVER'S AFRICA with Ambassador Princess Rahab Agwom Azi as the Country representative.

WAA is a Network, a global inspirational and lifestyle platform for women to unlock their potential.The transformative organization was designed to inspire and empower women from diverse backgrounds to rise and thrive in various capacities.

The initiative aims to create an inclusive, provide support system , and collaborative environment where women can exchange ideas, share experiences, and learn from one another as well bridge the gender gap.

Ambassador Rahab disclosed that Women are the epigram of wealth and power, they are the glue that holds our beloved country together

Princess Rahab said the launching of Women Achievers Africa - Nigeria Chapter, was remarkable and a significant milestone in our journey to empower and celebrate women's achievements in Nigeria. 

According to her Women Achiever's Africa is a platform that recognizes and honors women's contributions to society, and we are thrilled to expand our reach to Nigeria. Our mission is to empower women to reach their full potential, amplify their voices, and foster a community of support and mentorship.

"Let us work together to create a supportive ecosystem for women to thrive. Let us celebrate our achievements and empower each other to reach new heights. NO WOMAN NO NATION!

Rahab while speaking with Newsway Media said WAA represents a pivotal moment for women to unite and celebrate their collective strength and accomplishments. A Network for women that focused on uplifting and amplifying the stories and accomplishments of women around the globe 

Through dynamic and engaging discussions, participants will gain inspiration and practical strategies to apply in their journeys. WAA will be a powerful catalyst for personal and professional growth, offering a unique opportunity for women to connect, learn, and advance on their respective paths. 

Country Representative said, WAA is going to be instrumental in shaping the calibre of extraordinary women,  trailblazers and thought leaders who exemplify greatness in their fields.

 Ambassador Rahab maintained that, WAA project is taking women to where they should go. While empowering, connecting, and celebrating women across Africa, it will enables more women to live beyond misperceptions, self-limiting beliefs, fears, stereotypes and misplaced emotions that could limit the God-given exceptional nature within women for the development of humanity.

"Investing in female entrepreneurs creates a ripple effect of positive change. They represent a vast pool of untapped talent. Multiple studies have documented the financial benefits of this untapped resource, highlighting how businesses led by women deliver superior returns on equity. We not only unlock their potential but also unleash a cascade of positive change that strengthens businesses, communities, and the continent as a whole by investing in them.

Women entrepreneurs are a driving force for innovation and community development in Africa. They often target underserved markets or create solutions specifically tailored to their communities’ needs.

Rahab further  emphasised the significance of empowering women in entrepreneurship as it will propel economic advancement

She noted that the initiative was poised to make a substantial impact on Africa‘s economy 

„Women serve as the bedrock of economies. By backing their entrepreneurial endeavors, we are not only investing in their future but in that of our communities and nations as well.

„This initiative signifies our unwavering dedication to cultivating an inclusive and fair entrepreneurial environment in Africa.

„The initiative is also expected to facilitate job creation, foster economic inclusion, drive innovation and competitiveness, provide social and communal benefits, and enhance economic resilience,“ Rahab said.

We invest in a brighter future for Africa by investing in females . Their success isn’t just a social good; it’s a strategic economic driver. As leaders, we have a responsibility to recognise their potential, provide the necessary support, and watch them become the architects of Africa’s thriving future.

The Global Head Mrs Mildred all the way from Kenya, emphasised on unity.

she stated that our goals is to ensure women have the resources, opportunities and support one another, to create a network of women achievers in Nigeria.

 She  expressed satisfaction for the caliber of officials that takes the responsibility, great women with great qualities, politicians, Advocators, NGO founders,  public servants etc, that will carry the Organization to its greater heights.
