Hashimu Argungu Charges Police Officers to enroll on Forensic Studies As SFSN holds Induction

The Chairman of the Police Service Commission, DIG Hashimu Argungu rtd, mni,  has Charged  Police Officers to enroll and be certified on forensic as part of the requirement for special promotion

He made this known on Saturday in Abuja being 21st September,  2024, at the 14th Induction and Award ceremony organized by the Security and forensics studies Nigeria, in a prestigious event held at the National Merit Award House Maitama.

Mr. Argungu while addressing the participants expressed his pleasure and thanked the organizer for bringing in the Technocrats together to discuss the matter of National interest.

He stated that every police officer will undergo forensic security studies as the prerequisite for special promotion and recognition in the system, noting that this will make them demonstrate absolute integrity

Argungun, said people all over the world gathered for Induction and Award of forensic Practitioners. “As you can see, the whole country and the international community is well represented; both the government and the international community. I pray for them and congratulate them 

The Security and forensics studies Nigeria  ( SFSN ), led by its Director General  Dr. Amb. Okocha Morgan has inducted an unprecedented of 6,50 new members in 2024

This was disclosed in Abuja at the 14th Induction and award ceremony held on 21st September 2024, at the prestigious National Merit Award House Maitama, Abuja 

According to Ambassador Okocha Morgan who is also the chairman of Advanced Peace and Reconciliation Center of Nigeria, lauded the awardees and urged them to demonstrate unwavering commitment to excellence and professionalism according to the international standard 

Dr. Morgan expects absolute demonstration of integrity, diligence, and patriotic zeal in the discharge of these important functions for the overall wellbeing of the  nation.”

While speaking with Newsmen, Morgan advocateed for integrity and pledged his commitment to excellence. Noting that his organization is known for integrity and professionalism as reasons for mammoth crow in the induction and award ceremony.

Dr. Okocha while speaking dwelling on integrity, stated that the organization is established on a firm act and everything is done base on verifiable performance and within the dictate of the law

Speaking on the occasion, the Director General, Dr (Amb.) Okocha Morgan, further charged the Inductees and Awardees to live up to their mandate and become good ambassador of the Institute.

According to Amb. Okocha, “one of the objective of the Security and Forensic Studies Nigeria is to conduct training services, organising seminars, workshops, and award/inducts members that passed all the Security and Forensic Studies Nigeria professional examinations.

Among the notable personalities Awarded, are economists, financial experts, industrialists, entertainment, Religion leaders, entrepreneurs, thinkers, and creators who have transcended boundaries and overcome challenges to leave in-erasable legacies.


The event was more than just a celebration of Induction ceremony and Honorary doctoral degree Award ; it was a testament to the unwavering support and love that has been extended by friends and strangers alike to move Nigeria Security system forward in terms of policy formulation and implementation.
