NGO holds medical outreach in Mpape community, educate residents

The non-governmental and non-profit organization, Face of Joy Charity Organization, recently held its second medical outreach in Mpape community, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja Nigeria. The outreach was organized on September 14th to mark another milestone of the foundation.

 The free medical outreach titled, ‘Say No To Slump and Die,  was held at the Community Primary School in Mpape, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja  

 The resident received Dr Ezinne and her team with gladness while at the  Palace of the District Head,  Mpape.

Dr Ezinne Ijeoma, the founder of the Face of Joy raised cardiac arrest awareness and provided free medical tests to over 100 residents in the area

While teaching, She offered basic principles of resuscitation through CPR. 

 Also, information were given to them after testing exercise, people with high blood pressure are advised to see their doctors without delay. She emphasized the importance of preventive healthcare.

Over 100 residents benefited from various health talks and screenings during the outreach. Topics included managing conditions like hypertension, stress, and related screenings for blood pressure and sugar levels, as well free wristwatches were distributed to children

A medical professional involved in the outreach, Dr. Ezinne Ijeoma, explained that the goal was not only to do check up for them but  also to educate the community about health issue and the possible way of handling it before the arrival of medical personnel 

Dr Ezinne  reaffirmed the organization’s mandate to complement government healthcare delivery through collaborative community support worldwide.  

The founder, Dr Ezinne promised to give palliative to those that might not be able to afford as a succour to their current situation. 

"She  emphasised that the outreach aims to bridge the gap between the community and the government, especially in light of high inflation rates that make healthcare difficult for many.

Apostle Ezinne maintained that the organisation had been operating for years with a focus on improving healthcare in communities and educational institutions.

Participants , expressed their satisfaction with the outreach, noting that it was a first of its kind in Mpape. Their commended the efforts of the organisers and the impact of the program on the community.


The event was more than just a Medical outreach ; it was a testament to the unwavering support and love that has been extended by Dr Ezinne medical team and the overwhelming respond from attendees speak volumes about the success of the program. The connections made, the conversations had, and the beautiful memories created resonate deeply with everyone present, leaving a lasting impression that will be cherished for years to come.
