Face of Joy Charity Foundation takes healthcare services to Abuja’s underserved community

Saturday Newsway Media reports that, Face of Joy Charity was at the palace of Emir's People With Disabilities, Karonmajigi, FCT, Abuja where she kicked off raising cardiac arrest awareness.
The organization determined to make a difference say "No to SLUMP AND DIE" to people with disabilities, teaching them basic principles of resuscitation through CPR. Offering free vital checks to people who are visually impaired, physically challenged and less privileged.
Also , useful information were given them after screening, people with high blood pressure to see their doctors.

Dr Ezinne said: “Nigeria, Africa and the world at large, a lot of people just slump and die not knowing exactly what is wrong with them. The outreach is to intimate people what to do in such circumstances.
The foundation is sponsored by Dr Ezinne Ijeoma , the Medical practitioner who was on ground at the Karon-magigji, people with Disabilities where the free healthcare services were carried out said not less than 50 residents, including elderly men and women, youths and children received free testing, blood pressure checks, blood sugar checks, and other services
Apostle Ezinne Ijeoma while speaking with Newsway Africa Media, reiterated her commitment to capture 14 Communities before the end of the year.
The initiative is aimed at providing accessible healthcare services to communities often deprived of such facilities.
Today, we stand here as medical professionals, driven by our commitment to provide quality healthcare to those who need it the most.
The joy we bring to the underprivileged in this community is our greatest source of pride. It’s a real sense of accomplishment to see them arrive looking down on their luck and leave with smiles after receiving medical care and Drinks . We all know the government can’t handle this alone, so I urge other organizations to step up and help those in need.”
“Our goal is to bridge the gap in healthcare disparities and ensure that every individual, regardless of their socio-economic status, receives the care they deserve,” said Dr. Ezinne Ijeoma, the founder of the Face of Joy Charity Foundation.
The foundation also emphasized on the importance of proper medication usage, and the necessity of completing the prescribed course for optimal health outcomes.
The outreach drew an overwhelming response from the local residents, many of whom face struggles in accessing adequate healthcare due to financial limitations.
