Creative Mind is Core for Sustainable Development - Augustine Igweshi

The Creative Mind Initiative has  hosted a pivotal event for the future of Nigeria. The one-day Summit, held on Saturday 17th August, 2024 , brought together dignitaries across board to discuss issues bothering the Nations of Africa and Nigeria in particular.

Saturday Newsway Media reports that, the prestigious summit held at Maryam Babangida National Center For Women Development in Abuja.

Mr. Augustine Igweshi, executive Director Center For Peace Advocate and sustainable Development While speaking with Newsmen reiterated his commitment to championing the crusade of Creative Mind. He maintained that creative mindset is Core for Sustainable Development

"Adding that, Youth are the leaders of today. He advised Nigeria Youth to build capacity, share ideas and potential that will lead to sustainable Development. 

"Noting that, the current administration has rolled out some laudable initiatives that are of great benefits, while charging the youth to key into those program. 

" He stressed that, Nigeria Youth should use the instrument of dialogue to get the attention of government rather than continue PROTEST 

This gathering served as a launchpad for collaborative problem-solving and strategic planning aimed at tackling Africa’s most pressing development challenges.

The summit’s participants weren’t just observers. These future leaders, representing the vanguard of African leadership, actively engaged in conference on leadership development, strategic planning sessions, and community development activities.

Recognizing Africa’s unique advantage of having the worlds’ youngest population, these young minds were determined to harness this demographic potential by strategically investing in economic and social development.

Discussions centered around key pillars of sustainable Development Goals, crucial to Africa’s advancement.

The “creative Mind ” program isn’t just talk. It’s already fostering concrete collaborations amongst its members. 

This initiative culminates in “Youth Tech Challenge Africa,” a global competition to This event will see  young minds explore a wide range of innovative fields, including robotics and artificial intelligence.
