Connect Her Summit , Stakeholders Moves to Unlock Women's potential for Economic Growth
VIMMA Glide Limited, in collaboration with Pan African Chamber of Culture Trade and Investment presents , Connect Her Network Summit 2024, a global inspirational and lifestyle platform for women, has organized a one Day sensitization program to unlock Women's potential.
The transformative event was designed to inspire and empower women from diverse backgrounds, which held on Thursday , August 29th, 2024, at the prestigious Army Resource Center Asokoro, in Abuja .
Themed “ Rise & Thrive”, this year’s Connect her Summit aims to create an inclusive, diverse, and collaborative environment where women can exchange ideas, share experiences, and learn from one another.
The Esteemed guests, including , His Excellency Barrister Sam Ode, Deputy Governor Benue State, Prof. Tunji John Asaolu, Amb.Stephen Ben Joel, Mrs.Eugenia Abu, Gbadewole Olubunmi Mary, Abdullahi Sami and Barr.Njuara Njama joined in the festivities. Barrister Sam Ode who spoke on Women Empowerment as key to unlock opportunities for women. He maintained that gender equality is a global conversation, giving women opportunity the society will be better.
Adding that legislation is one of the areas we can exploit to ensure opportunity for women to unlock their potentials .
While speaking, he dwelled on education for women, noting that, women are the cornerstone of every society.
Amb. Ojia Victoria Ogwuche, the convener of Connect her Network, in her welcome remark lauded the participants for gracing this year summit. She said the summit focuses on empowering Women to overcome Challenges, achieve their dreams, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and support.
Mrs Ogwuche, while addressing the Newsmen said the next edition of the summit will feature Grant giving to the vulnerable and underprivileged to startup business.
She emphasized that, Men should support their wives in any given opportunity. Bosses in various offices should give women privilege to excel.
