Charles Efe Sylvester EMUKOWHATE , the Commissioner for Finance, National Pension Commission was honored with Ambassador award by the "African Union Agenda 2063
It was learnt that, this Ambassadorial Award to Professor Charles is in lieu of his great passion for Africa Continents as a man of high repute and hard working, goal oriented individual, who places a great value on his integrity

Wednesday Newsway Africa reports that, Army Resource Center Asokoro in Abuja served as the perfect backdrop for this momentous occasion , where esteemed guests like , Prof Charles Sylvester, Dr. Umar Shuaibu Gwazo, Dr. Charles Adeyileka Adedayo, Amb. Amaka Okeke , Dr. Kola Talent, Dr. Sammy Uche, Dr. Zizzia King - wazi , Ambassador Eke Okorie, and Dr Adelanke joined in the festivities. Their presence added an extra layer of significance to the program as they shared profound insights and re-ignited the Spirit of Pan - Africanism and Africa Renaissance within every attendees.
Professor Charles Sylvester while speaking to newsmen maintained that, AGENDA 2063 is Africa’s blueprint and master plan for transforming Africa into global powerhouse of the future.
Described the event as the unique moves because of the love and vision that the African leaders has for the continent to transform and sustain it into global standard in terms of technological advancement, Educational, Health and Economic advancement. And to ensure that, African becomes a voice to be reckoned with in a global community
“The transformation of the lingering social, political and economic impasse in the continent requires the critical evaluation of African scholars and professionals toward the achievement of stability, peace, and freedom as envisioned in the 2063 Agenda of the African Union, “he said.
We're not only join to keep alive the intellectual dimension of Pan Africanism, but also become a major player in championing the struggle for unity, human and environmental dignity, self-determination and cultural renaissance that are needed for the genuine development and prosperity of the African people worldwide, “he added.
In his statement,to achieve this vision, he said, awareness and education to decolonizing the mind of people is needed at all levels.
According to professor Charles, the gathering is “a network of academics, Technocrats , professionals, civil society and grassroot leaders in different fields of life, within Africa and the diaspora, who are motivated by the best principles of Pan Africanism to serve the continent and its people worldwide.”
While noting that,”Pan-Africanism emerged as a response to the long history of the indignities of colonization, enslavement, and systemic oppression and exploitation faced by African people across the globe”, he explained that,”The African Union Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Assembly is therefore established to pursue the decolonization of the mind through education, policy analysis, policy building and advocacy around multi-faceted issues within the threshold of Pan-African principles.”
“Our job is to inspire excellence and best practices in Pan Africanism, promote African values of community, hospitality, respect for human and environmental dignity, unity in diversity, love and solidarity with all, as encapsulated .
We are seeking to reverse the mentality that Africans are not capable of helping themselves and solving their problems. We want to reverse that culture of dependency on external assistance that unfortunately still prevails on the continent. If people become too reliant on getting their support, their nourishment and their safety from outside sources, they do not strive to find the power within themselves to rely on their own capacities.
