Accolade as Angonimi David-Imeh emerges Parliament philanthropic, humanitarian woman Award of the year

In a significant recognition of her tireless efforts towards empowering the underprivileged and vulnerable across Africa, Ambassador Angonimi David-Imeh, the Executive Director of the Hope Raisers Global  Foundation, was awarded the prestigious title of Philanthropic, Humanitarian and Societal Development services Award by Parliament Dairy Dialogue 

Ambassador Angonimi David-Imeh epitomizes resilience and dedication in her multifaceted roles as a humanitarian, social advocate, and change-maker. A serial entrepreneur,  philanthropist, and role model, she embodies the wholesome 21st-century woman.

As a servant to humanity and senior private practitioner, her influence extends to shaping policies and frameworks crucial for governance and economic development.

Beyond her humanitarian duties, Angonimi's heart beats passionately for women's empowerment and social justice as well as vulnerable citizens. Her leadership as the Executive Director of Hope Raisers Global  Foundation has catalyzed transformative change across the continent. Through innovative vocational skill acquisition programs, advocacy campaigns, community development projects, mentoring services, and more, she has empowered countless women across Africa, amplifying their voices and fostering economic independence.

Certified as a Monitoring & Evaluation, Emergency & Disaster Response,  Private Sector Training, Child Rights Training, and  Political Leadership Masterclass for Women, her expertise intertwines seamlessly with her advocacy efforts. Her unwavering commitment to gender equity and child welfare, especially the girl child, has earned her international acclaim, with numerous awards and accolades adorning her distinguished career.

The event, held at the National Merit Award House in Abuja. The milestone event does not only celebrated Ambassador Angonimi's accomplishments but also served as a platform to reignite the spirit of good governance and the role of National Assembly in Nation Building.

The  Esteemed guests, including Honourable Susan Lokpobiri, Her Excellency Mrs. Rehab Azi , Amb. Angonimi David-Imeh,  Ambassador Aji Rachel Robinson, Dr. Rachel Adewumi and Papa Perculia joined in the festivities. Their presence added an extra layer of significance to the program as they shared profound insights and re-ignited the Spirit of Nation Building within every attendee. 

In her response, while addressing the journalists , Ambassador Angonimi said it was humbling to be recognised “for the work that we do across cities and communities in our dear country. She  expressed satisfaction as everything was done based on verifiable performance and professionalism as a Humanitarian Expert.

As a devoted wife and mother, Ambassador Angonimi personifies the delicate balance between professional excellence and personal fulfillment. She often shares the mantra, "You can do anything you put your mind to; only if you believe." Her remarkable journey serves as a testament to the power of resilience, compassion, and unwavering dedication in creating a more just and equitable society.

Reflecting on her journey, Mrs.David-Imeh emphasized the importance of resilience, ambition, and seizing opportunities. From her early years marked by a hunger for education to her unconventional path to becoming a private practitioner and humanitarian crusader, her story serves as an inspiration to many.

Thursday Newsway Media reports Some of her laudable programs in Nigeria, such as, the Intensive teaching of IDPs within Abuja at a stretch for 2 years bringing in seasoned professionals touching on different topics as it affects their mental, psychological and emotional well-being. Empowerment of 50 women at the IDP camp Durumi with mobile devices, inclusion into the tech world & e-commerce.The distribution of raw food stuff to 320 households at the mountain villa in Dec 2023 and the distribution of raw food items to the entire Durumi IDP camp in Dec 2023.

Also, the Payment of school fees for children in 6 schools in Ikorodu, lagos Feb 2024, Feeding of 500 children in Waru community FCT March 2024 and the Distribution of fairly new clothes to over 500 women and children at Shereti communities Abuja Jan 2024. Payment of school fees/provision of school aid for secondary School students in Etsako LGA, Edo State in Feb 2024

Expressing her gratitude for the recognition, Ambassador  thanked the organizers for acknowledging her verifiable performance. She dedicated the award to her supportive husband and encouraged Nigerian women to believe in themselves and never give up, urging them to embrace the spirit of self-improvement

Looking ahead, Ambassador Angonimi David-Imeh reaffirmed her commitment to Hope Raisers Global  Foundation's mission of empowering women and vulnerable across the continent, With a focus on holistic community development, IDPs camp and initiatives aimed at uplifting vulnerable populations, including out-of-school children and enforcing the rights of the girl child, she remains dedicated to fostering positive change and contributing to humanitarian development.

In every role she undertakes, Mrs.Angonimi radiates a spirit of hope and possibility, inspiring generations to come and leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of social change.
