In a remarkable journey of unwavering determination and a commitment to empowering others, save humanity, Chief, Ambassador Adejor has ascended to a new heights in traditional leadership. His extraordinary contributions to individual and societal development have earned him the prestigious Award by University of Abuja, under the Department of Political Science and International Relation.

The  Nigerian National Merit Award House Maitama in Abuja served as the perfect backdrop for this momentous occasion, where esteemed guests, including  professor Abdulrasheed Na'allah Vice Chancellor University of Abuja , Professor Sheriff Ghali Ibrahim Head of Department , political Science,  Honourable  Christopher Zachari, AMAC chairman, FCT Police Commissioner, and KABIR Usman joined in the festivities. Their presence added an extra layer of significance to the program as they shared profound insights and re-ignited the Spirit of International Relation

Dignitaries at the event were full of praises for the awardee as they said his core values are hard work, integrity, absolute sense of purpose and resilience on divine providence

Kogi born traditional ruler, Ambassador Adejor Monday has laboured continuously to reduce conflicts, fostering peace and unity, advance social bonds, helping humanity and establish connections amidst diverse communities in Nigeria and beyond.

The “ UNIABUJA Merit Award” is the highest calling and most outstanding recognition to individuals whose life exemplify the ideals of living for the sake of others, who dedicate themselves to promote universal moral values and the establishment of a cultural value system predicated on trust and peace.

In his response, while addressing the journalists , Chief Adejor said it was humbling to be recognised “for the work that we do across cities and communities in our dear country. He expressed satisfaction as everything was done based on verifiable performance.

" He called on Nigerian government to work with traditional institutions, to create synergy between traditional ruler and Nigeria security operatives to ensure lasting solution to insecurity. Nothing that traditional ruler are in touch with the local community on daily basis  

Speaking on China - African relation, ambassador emphasized the need to anchor and sustain the relationship for greater  advantage and development.
