IAWPA: Dr. Stephen Lazi bags UN Eminent Peace Ambassador award

It networks international and regional organizations and recruits people of decent ethical manner as UN Eminent Peace Ambassador through effective screening of nominations with special regards granted to personalities whose efforts are evident in making peace and providing benevolence to orphanage children, widows and the elderly.
The “Eminent Peace Ambassador Award” is the highest calling and most outstanding recognition to individuals whose life exemplify the ideals of living for the sake of others, and who dedicate themselves to promote universal moral values and the establishment of a cultural value system predicated on trust and peace.
Dr. Stephen has laboured continuously to reduce conflicts, advance social bonds, and establish connections amidst diverse communities in Nigeria .
The global accolade recognized his outstanding contributions to peace and humanitarian causes, positioning him as diplomats on the international stage.

According to the organizers, Dr. Stephen was conferred with the Global Award for his exemplary leadership role and philanthropic gesture for humanity and Apostle of peace

Speaking to Newsmen, Dr. Stephen Lazi reinstated his commitment and Zeal to promote peace at all costs, he expressed satisfaction especially with the fact that everything was done with professionalism based strictly on merit and verifiable performance. He promised to repose the confidence bestowed on him .
" He said there is no alternative to peace, saying that, peace is an instrument for development and Nation building. He called on Nigerians to embrace and unity at all levels of life
Speaking on the recognition, Dr. Stephen Lazi said, he feels honoured by the United Nations Peace Ambassador award.
In his response, Lazi said he was humbled by this prestigeous award coming at this point of time that the Nation is in dear search for peace, noting that this would only spur him to do more for humanity.
“The culture of peace is a value I have upheld my entire life. This recognition simply encourages me to keep doing what I do best.
“I commit to the responsibilities this appointment brings,” he said.
