Horror! How FCT Tractor driver kills, Mr. Christian Ogbu

Many Nigerians, including safety experts, victims of road accidents and other categories of road users have expressed fears over the rising spate of road accidents involving  trucks and tractors in most parts of the country

Tractor belonging to FCT department of parks and recreation on Friday  caused the death of Mr. Christian Agbo Ogbu.The sudden event occurred on his way to office at the National Assembly. 


Eye witnesses attributed the accident to the recklessness of the driver who was wrongly followed the one way lane that leads to the death of Mr. Christian whose many discribed as the bread winner of the family.

Mr.Christian ogbu ( Deceased) is an indigene of Igede, Obi local government area of Benue State. Married and blessed with children.

Mr. Peter Ojoko, the close relative of the deceased, said the driver was arrested by the police and detained at the federal secretariat police station for further interogation.

"He said the corpse was deposited at the National Hospital Abuja, and will be taking to his home town, Akwunda -Ito Soon as the family demanding compensation from the FCT department of parks and recreation. 

The ill-fated day, tear Flows as family and friends who rush to National Hospital  confirmed the sadden incident, seeing the lifeless body of Mr. Christian Agbo ogbu.

While at the federal secretariat police station, the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Abdullahi Hassan, described the incident as sympathetic, expressed condolences to the deceased family

Mr.Hassan lamented the poor attitude of the tractor driver who cut the life of an innocent soul short. He expressed concern that, life is not meant to be taken by any body, as everyone will give account of his stewardship one day before his maker.

The humble police officer who question the integrity and the inability of the department of FCT  Parks and recreation for less supervision on their drivers, described the action as vicarious liability. 

He assured that, the law will take it place and proper thing  must be done.
