Applause as Confluence University VC Prof. Salawu Asipita becomes Chairman NIMMME , promises inclusivity

The Nigerian Institution OF Metallurgical, Mining And Materials Engineering, NIMMME, aka 3M has Inaugurated the 12th  National Chairman.

 The inauguration of the 12th National Chairman Prof Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu FNIMMME and his EXCO at NSE HQ, Abuja was attended by many personalities in the Engineering family. The President of COREN, President of NSE (represented by the Deputy President Engr Rabiu Ali), Chairman Abuja Branch Ben Osy, and many serving and past National EXCO members in NSE, Branches and family 

Wednesday Newsway Media understands that  with his track record of achievements, Prof. Salawu will surpass expectations by taking the NIMMME  to heights previously never imagined.

The new Chairman is an accomplished scholar and professional of note,  a professor of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering

Engr. Prof. Salawu , is the Vice Chancellor, Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara. He is an academic to the core, ingrained in the academic traditions of simplicity, humility, discipline, credibility, excellence, integrity and honour.  
Newsway Media gathered that Professor  Abdulraman Asipita believes in the power of ideas, innovation, change and transformation; the values of hard-work, merit, achievement, quality and results; the virtues of openness, transparency, accountability, honour and integrity; the leadership style of team-work and inclusiveness; and the provision of opportunities, spaces and avenues for younger colleagues to excel and deliver on results, while providing guidance, inspiration and motivation. 

The kogi born professor, has now wear double Cap.

 while addressing the journalists at the ceremony , he  promised inclusivity by bringing professionals on board, add value to the mineral deposits in Nigeria,   collaboration with the industries and academia.

According to him, " my vision is to leave a footprint that will stand the taste of time by working in collaboration with the manstral of the present Administration to see Nation's economy growth, ours is to give professional advise, he said". 

The event, beyond its celebratory nature, served as a testament to  professor Salawu's  pursuit of positive change and  contributions to the Engineering Family. As the nation craves progress for good governance and innovation in the engineering section , Professor Asipita Inauguration as the Chairman stands as a beacon, inspiring future generations and encouraging a shift toward results oriented pursuit. 

The event was not just an inuguration  of  professor Abdulraman Asipita ; it was a testament to the unwavering support and love that has been extended by friends and strangers alike.
