Professor Chibuzor Nwobueze bags Award of excellence, Peace and economic recovery from WAYPEM.

Professor Chibuzor Nwobueze, fspsp. Professor , Peace and Conflict Studies and Associate Dean, Postgraduate School, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has received the Award of excellence, Peace and economic recovery from WAYPEM.
He expressed satisfaction to the management of the organization especially with the fact that everything was done with professionalism based strictly on merit and verifiable performance.
” Sometimes when you are focused in your pursuit, you may not know those who are observing until you receive interesting commendations and awards like this from reputable Organization.
In his remark , while with speaking with NEWSWAY Africa shortly after the Award ceremony, He said in the journey of peace, human character development is necessary, he used the opportunity to charge the youth to be an advocate of peace by engaging in a productive venture through vocational skills acquisition
According to him peace mean good governance, justice, and fairness . He maintained that in the next five years we will experience relative peace not total peace , because if many people are poor and hungry, there will be no peace, it is difficult to have positive peace where poverty index is high.
He stressed the need for all hands to be on desk to promote peace at all levels, the world does not only need physical development but human character development, if human character is in place, peace will be restored.
He call on the government of the day to protect the rights of all the citizens and create a sound environment for economic and peace to grow . He went further to emphasize the importance of peace-building as an instrument for economic transformation and development, calling on all Nigerians to work together towards a harmonious and prosperous future for the nation.
Professor Chibuzor Nwobueze is known for his relentless efforts in promoting peace and harmony, he has played a pivotal role in fostering unity among diverse communities. His exceptional leadership skills, coupled with his unwavering commitment for youth development , have earned him this prestigious accolade.
Also his tireless dedication to peace-building initiatives and his instrumental role in mentoring young ones garnered widespread recognition and admiration.
The Africa Youth Peace Mission has recently launched the $50 Billion for World Youth Peace Centre. The theme " of the conference is Peace , Security and Economic Summit".
The fund raising ceremony/ award which took place at the National Centre for Women Development , attracted the dignitaries from all works of life.
The president of the organization his Excellency professor Godwill Richman while delivery his key note address, maintained that the outbreak of COVID-19 has caused economic meltdown and global consequences on our Youths.
According to him with the growing Youth unemployment and spiraling inflation, Youth restiveness and increasing drugs abuse deepen the crime wave and constitute a threat to our society.
He call on the Heads of governments, Heads of missions, captains of industry, members of the Diplomatic Corps; Non-governmental organization and public -interest organization traditional and religious leaders, prominent personalities as well as the critical stakeholders to key into this tasks of saving our world from this daunting challenge.
The highlight of the conference is the unveiling of the headquarters building project known as the world peace centre ( WPC). This project is a $50,000,000,000 . The commercial complex will comprise a modern specialist University, Banking hall, an event center, multi-purpose training facilities for Youths and women, administrative offices and staff quarters.
