Honourable Danid Afremond bags Award of Excellence, Peace and Economic Recovery from the West Africa Youth Peace Mission. 

Hon. Danid is the Secretary of Numan local Government  area Council in Adamawa State. He appreciates the management of the organization for finding him worthy for such Award. He promised to key into the vision of the WAYPEM.

In his remark , while speaking with NEWSMEN shortly after the Award ceremony, he promised to do more to support the Youth. He used the opportunity to charge the youth to venture into the productive adventure.

He urged the federal government to secure a conductive environment for the Youth, he said unemployment is the reason for the social vices we experienced in our society today, Youths agenda should be taken seriously.

The Africa Youth Peace Mission has recently launched the $50 Billion for World Youth Peace Centre. The theme " of the conference is  Peace , Security and Economic Summit". 

The fund raising ceremony/ award which took place at the National Centre for Women Development , attracted the dignitaries from all works of life.

The president of the organization his Excellence professor Godwill Richman while delivery his key note address, maintained that the outbreak of COVID-19 has caused economic meltdown and global consequences on our  Youths.  

According to him with the growing Youth unemployment and spiraling inflation, Youth restiveness and increasing drugs abuse deepen the crime wave and constitute a threat to our society.

He call on the Heads of governments, Heads of missions, captains of industry, members of the Diplomatic Corps; Non-governmental organization and public -interest organization traditional and religious leaders, prominent personalities as well as the critical stakeholders to key into this tasks of saving our world from this daunting challenge.

The highlight of the conference is the unveiling of the headquarters building project known as the world peace centre ( WPC). This project is a $50,000,000,000 . The commercial complex will comprise a modern specialist University, Banking hall, an event center, multi-purpose training facilities for Youths and women, admistrative offices and staff quarters.

 Also , some eminence personalities were Honoured from all works of life with different awards for their contribution towards uplifting the lot of Youths and society.

The West African Youth peace mission (WAYPEM ) is a vision and a dream of peaceful atmospheric phenomenon, which was visualized on the 10 day December,1998 by a dynamic young man, Godswill O. Richman and initiated on 9th january 1999 By G.O. Richard and Rev. Innocent Raphael.

The West African Youth peace mission was inaugurated at the Ecowas secretariat by the federal government of Nigeria, having presented fifteen other West African countries.

Furthermore, (WAYPEM) which is non-profit, non-partisan but a voluntary peace organization that advocates dialogue as the only weapon to resolve crises among member states instead of war and conflict.
We are totally committed towards ensuring peaceful co-existence, good governance and sustainable democracy rule within Nigeria and West Africa with the overall aims of achieving global peace.
