Ecomium flows as society of engineers crowns Engr. Luntsi Jimmy Johnson as NSE fellow.

The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) has conferred its prestigious Fellowship on Engineer Luntsi Jimmy Johnson, Director Ministry of works and Housing. Speaking at the conferment ceremony in Abuja, the President of NSE, engr. Tasiu Gidari -Wudil said the Fellow was conferred on the awardees because they were found worthy both in practice and character. He added: “To our distinguished awardees, you have been found worthy in practice and character and therefore considered fit to be upgraded to the prestigious Fellowship cadre of the Society.”  
 
The NSE President pointed out that the conferment of the Fellowship on the awardees marks the commencement of a journey of bearing responsibilities on behalf of the Society. “Responsibilities of, first and foremost, carrying yourselves always with the dignity and comportment this Fellowship bestows on you, both in your personal life and in the practice of the profession. You will also have the responsibility of being a worthy role model, lending mentorship to our Young Engineers Future Leaders, and even our school children that need your inspiration to join the engineering profession. 

NSE,  conferrement of prestigious distinguished fellowship on Engr. Luntsi Jimmy Johnson, in attestation of his standing as a foremost practitioner among the cadre of civil  engineers in Nigeria.

In a statement issued by the NSE, the engineering flagship Institute said its elite fellowship grade was conferred Engineer Jimmy Johnson because of his track record of exploits and achievements in the Ministry of  works and Housing over the years, adding that it was an honor well deserved.

 In a grand ceremony held in Abuja on Wednesday, Engr. Luntsi Jimmy was among the many personalities that was presented award of fellow of the Institute.

Expressing his gratitude, While speaking with NEWSWAY Africa,
Engr. Luntsi Jimmy Johnson appreciated the NSE for counting him worthy of the award, he promised to continue contributing to the development of the Institution and engineering profession. He said it is a dream comes true.

Engr. Luntsi Jimmy promised to maintain the highest quality standards and continue providing engineering solutions that promote sustainable development in Nigeria and the welfare of engineers.

"According to him engineers are the forefront of every development in the country, he charged the government of the day to take the issues of engineering seriously, by creating enabling environment for them to thrive. Also urged the young engineers to pursuit their dream with all sense of determination.

The event, beyond its celebratory nature, served as a testament to Nigeria’s pursuit of positive change and renewed hope. As the nation craves progress, Engr. Luntsi Jimmy Johnson’s award stands as a beacon, inspiring future generations and encouraging a shift toward international standards in the realm of civil engineering  profession

Engr. Luntsi Jimmy Johnson but also featured side attractions , adding to the beautification of the remarkable ceremony.

He dedicated the award to  God Almighty for dream comes true.
